Can a vehicle with WW plates be insured temporarily?

A vehicle that has just been bought or imported often runs, for a few weeks, under a temporary registration certificate (CPI), recognisable by its "WW" plate. While waiting for the final registration document, this vehicle must still be insured as soon as it takes to the road.

A WW-plated vehicle is insured like any other

TempAssur insures WW-plated vehicles under the same conditions as a vehicle with a final registration: third-party liability, online subscription, instant certificate. One point to watch: the coverage period cannot exceed the CPI's expiry date. If the certificate expires in 10 days, the maximum insurable duration is 10 days.

How to subscribe

Choose your vehicle's category in the quote tool, enter its first registration date and details, then pay online: the certificate arrives by e-mail or WhatsApp within minutes of the electronic signature.
